Whistler Blackcomb Record Snowfall

It’s seems as if Mother Nature is helping Whistler Blackcomb to celebrate the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games by providing a record snowfall of 9.6 metres (32.5 feet) and counting!

Consistently ranked as "the number one ski resort in North America," Whistler Blackcomb also provides the largest terrain in North America with a total of 8.2 acres.  During the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, over 90% of the runs will be open for the public to enjoy.

From February 12 to 28, Whistler Blackcomb is host to Vancouver 2010 Olympic events that include ski jumping, biathlon, bobsled, and luge; during the Paralympic Winter Games, March 12 to 21, Whistler Blackcomb will host events including cross-country skiing and sledge hockey.
