France is for Lovers on Valentine's Day

When one thinks of France, they might think of fashion, Paris, French cuisine, the Eiffel Tower, and maybe even of romance especially on Valentine's Day.

Nestled in the Central Region of France is the village of Saint-Valentin where their 47th annual Lover's Festival is being held over 3 days, from February 12-14, 2011. Saint-Valentin is also home to the Jardin des Amoureux or Lover's Garden where visitors will find beautiful foliage, artwork, a wishing tree, and the perfect setting for a romantic afternoon stroll.

In the Burgundy region of France, Saint-Amour-Bellevue is a popular destination for couples who wish to renew their marriage vows. Packages are available that include a ceremony, church concert, dinner and reception. In the region known as Jura, visitors can enjoy the 12th annual Festival du Film d'Amour held in Saint-Amour from February 14-26, 2011, which showcases romantic films from around the world including guest actors and directors.
