New Caribbean Port of Call in Jamaica

Located between Ocho Rios and Montego Bay, Falmouth has always been an important port for the island of Jamaica dating as far back as 1769.

More recently, Falmouth has been established as the newest Caribbean port of call for Royal Caribbean International sailings.  This historic port set amongst 19th-century gingerbread Georgian architecture offers cruisers a number of shore excursion opportunities including:

  • visiting the beautifully restored Good Hope Great House plantation
  • riding a bamboo raft down the Martha Brae River
  • tour of the Appleton Estate Rum factory
  • purchasing local crafts at the Albert George Shopping & Historical Center
  • taking a walking tour of the historic harbor itself
  • the chance to enjoy local restaurants and authentic Jamaican cuisine like jerk, breadfruit, and ackee
  • exploring the historic port by horse & buggy
