Explore the Wonders of the World by Private Jet

For those of us who haven't won the lottery yet, this dream vacation may just be that, a dream....but for the lucky few, enjoy and have a drink for the rest of us!

It all starts with flying in Business Class onboard a Private Jet 757 Boeing jetliner.  And the perks that come with?  Champagne, short flights, and pre-arranged customs and immigration whenever possible.

Where do you want fly?  How about a 16-day journey through Asia and Africa? or maybe a 19-day exploration of exotic Asia alone?  the South Pacific?  South America?  Or maybe the 39-day around the world tour would be more to your liking.

What's included?  In this case, everything.  Accommodation, all meals and drinks, all sightseeing tours, tipping, transfers, and taxes.  Plus you'll even have a tour doctor in case you get the sniffles.  Or something like that.

And the cost?  Well, what the heck does it matter?!  At this level, who cares.  But if you really need to know, the 2012 (yes, you'll have to wait until then) Tour Program with Private Jet starts at $24,450 per person.  Cheers, and don't forget to send my ticket.

The Re-Making of a Royal Princess

I don't want to date myself but I remember watching the Love Boat television series just wanting to be Julie McCoy or maybe even a guest who romantically fell in love onboard the cruise ship.

The Royal Princess was an integral part of the show when it came showcasing Caribbean cruises.  Now many years later, Princess Cruises has just announced a new Royal Princess ship to set sail in 2013.

Let's take a look at what we know so far about the contemporary Royal Princess:

  • she will weigh 141,000 tonnes
  • she will carry 3,600 passengers
  • a new revolutionary design will feature a covered glass-bottomed walkway which will extend over 28' past the ship's side providing for amazing ocean views to the waters surface 128' below
  • part of this unique feature includes the SeaView Bar
  • will offer an adults-only pool area with private cabanas during the day which turns into a dance club by night
  • will feature their signature outdoor theater, Movies Under the Stars
  • will have an expanded Piazza atrium along with 260,000 square feet of public space inside the ship
For more information on the Royal Princess, visit Princess Cruises.

Caribbean Resort Encourages Guests To 'Go Bananas'

A Caribbean resort has teamed up with the Saint Lucia Tourist Board to give families and their 'little monkeys' a summer holiday to remember.

Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort, near the island capital Castries, will be participating in the Tourist Board's "Go Bananas" summer promotion offering families discounts, special packages and the chance to take part in some of the island's most enjoyable experiences.

Vacationing between Jun 1 and September 30, 2011, and quoting the "Go Bananas" promotion, families can receive a number of great deals. Kids can have fun in the "Going Bananas" kiddy session, learning to make non alcoholic beverages from the key export, bananas, with adult sessions available. Other deals include a discount coupon book supplied by the Saint Lucia Tourist Board, complimentary excursions, a children's education session at Pigeon Island and great deals on children's meal plans.

The resort is a popular destination with families and has a range of facilities to ensure that family holidays are as enjoyable as possible. The award winning Jacquot Fun Club caters well to younger children with Jeep Safari Tours, water sports and themed nights on offer. Teen club keeps the teenagers entertained with karaoke, bonfire and movie nights.

Parents are not forgotten as the romance of the island can be captured through candle lit dinners for two, island excursions and relaxing spa treatments at the resort's Serenity Spa. A dedicated nanny service is on hand for parents wishing to take some time for themselves.

Windjammer is very family friendly with lots of fun activities such as water sports and safaris available to keep everyone entertained. Our aim is to help families create those unforgettable moments."

This year marks the resort's 21st anniversary and to celebrate this, Windjammer has undergone a $500,000 refurbishment programme restoring many of the 161 villas back to their original designs.

The resort boasts 60 acres of exotic landscape and 1,500 ft of white sandy beaches along with two children's pools, a kid's playground and specially designed menus for little ones.  Book by April 15th, 2011, to go bananas in St. Lucia!

A Royal Trip to Canada

His Royal Highness Prince William and Miss Katherine Middleton have accepted an invitation to undertake a Royal Tour of Canada, extended to them on behalf of the Government of Canada. The Royal Tour will include Alberta, the Northwest Territories, Prince Edward Island, Quebec and the National Capital Region.

Taking place from June 30 to July 8, 2011, this will be the couples first trip to Canada as newlyweds after their royal wedding which takes places on April 29, 2011, at Westminster Abbey in London.

Prince William and his new bride, Kate, are expected to draw huge crowds across Canada similar to those of Prince Charles and Diana upon their first visit.  This will be in stark comparison to the last royal visit by Prince Charles and Camilla, whose public events were not that well attended overall.
