Annual Coeur d'Alene Wooden Boat Show
Situated on the edge of picturesque Lake Coeur d'Alene, Coeur d'Alene is a vibrant town showcasing popular events like the Car D'Lane Cruise & Classic Car Show in June; Ironman Triathlon, also in June; Taste of the CdA's and Downtown Street Fair each August' and their classic International Wooden Boat Show every September.

Mountain Meditation
One of my favorites, award-winning Sandpoint is an trendy artsy town on 43-mile-long Lake Pend Oreille.  Visitors can enjoy checking out the quaint shops, taking in a show at the historic Panida Theatre, winter skiing or summer mountain biking at Schweitzer, or soaking up the sun and music during the popular Festival at Sandpoint summer concert series.
