Oh, To Be in Paris: Diner des Muses

SEPTEMBER 14, 2013!
One of my favorite places in all of France can be found just 45 minutes southeast of Paris - the magnifique Vaux le Vicomte chateau in Maincy.

Dating back more than 350 years, Vaux is a classic example of mid-17th century European architecture (designed by notable Andre le Notre) complete with impeccably manicured gardens inspired to induce tranquility and self-reflection, or so I think.

On June 22, 2013, Vaux le Vicomte will hold it's annual Diner des Muses event. Guests are invited to bring their own dinner and table decorations while dining by candlelight amongst Vaux's fabulous French gardens.

This year's Diner des Muses theme (for both dress and tables alike) is the striking combination of white and green - prizes will be given for the most elegant and creative decorations. The dream-like Diner de Muses will conclude with a magical fireworks display...how enchanting!

Don't gamble on being able to get your Diner des Muses tickets on-site as they're subject to availability, you're better off to purchase online in advance for €20 for members and €30 non-members.

For more information or to purchase your Diner des Muses tickets, visit Vaux le Vicomte.
