Summer Vacation in London?

Prince George with proud parents Will & Kate
Are you planning a summer vacation in London? Well, if you're a fan of the British Royal Family (and who isn't?!), there's no better time to visit as summer is the time when Royal homes & palaces traditionally open for public viewing.

Guided tours of Clarence House (official London residence of Prince Harry, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall) are officially underway now through September 1, 2013.  The one-hour tour is available 7 days per week for an admission cost of GBP £9 for adults and £5 for those 17-years of age and under (approx. USD $14/8).

Celebrating 60 years on the throne, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is being acknowledged in a special coronation exhibit at her Buckingham Palace residence. Now until September 29, 2013, visitors are invited to view photographs, works of art, and her coronation gown & cape. Various ticket options for visiting Buckingham Palace are available including admission to The State Rooms, Buckingham Palace, The Royal Mews (royal transportation hub) and a Garden Highlights tour; price start at £19 adults and £10.85 for children 17 and under (approx. USD $29/17).
