Scottsdale, Arizona - The City of Scottsdale will host the 30th annual Scottsdale Arts & Crafts Fair on Saturday, November 16, 2013 (rain or shine).  In addition to more than 175 vendors and a handful of food trucks, the event includes a Kids’ Zone featuring balloon artist Ed Chee and Abrakadoodle Art, live music by Musaic & Jazzona, raffle prizes and free landscape design information from Harper’s Nursery. The event, which will be held from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., is free and open to the public. 

Harvest Festival® Original Art and Craft Show Headed to Three Northern California Locations
San Mateo, CA - The Harvest Festival Original Art and Craft Show is headed to San Mateo on November 15-17, Sacramento on November 22-24 and San Jose on November 29-December 1. The event is the largest indoor arts and crafts show on the West Coast and offer over 24,000 American handmade arts and crafts. Attendees can shop jewelry, original art, blown glass, clothing, specialty foods, home decor and much more. The event runs Fridays and Saturdays from 10am-6pm and Sundays from 10am-5pm. Tickets are $9 general admission, $7 seniors (62+), $4 youth (13-17) and Children 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult.

Key West, Florida - Showcasing more than 35 films over just four days, the Key West Film Festival, taking place November 13-17 at the historic San Carlos Institute, 516 Duval St. and Tropic Cinema, 416 Eaton St., will be abuzz with the film’s directors and actors, all hosting Q&A sessions and other special events during the star-studded affair.  The featured films showcase the riveting work by actors who light up the screen to deliver emotional, gut-wrenching, passionate performances that linger with filmgoers long after the closing credits have rolled. 

Ukulele and Slack Key Guitar Institute at Kahilu Theatre, Kamuela, Hawaii
Kamuela, Hawaii - The Kahilu Theatre presents the Waimea Ukulele & Slack Key Guitar Institute from Thursday November 14 to Sunday November 17, 2013.  The institute features public concerts, schools shows, workshops, and movies.  Headlining artists include Ledward Kaapana, Sonny Lim, and Dennis Kamakahi (on Friday November 15 at 7pm); Cyril Pahinui, Jeff Peterson, and Nathan Aweau (On Saturday November 16 at 7pm).  Tickets for Friday and Saturday night concerts are $20 to $64, available in advance from www.kahilutheatre.org.  Public can also drop in at the theatre from 9am to 12noon or call the box office, at (808) 885-6868.

Clinton, MA - Crossing the Threshold: Traditional Folk Art from the Russian Home is an exhibit of authentic folk art and contemporary replicas by renowned Russian artisans at the Museum of Russian Icons in Clinton, MA. The artifacts decode the beliefs and culture of Russian peasants through crafts such as woodcarving, embroidery, basketry, metalwork, pottery, toy making and tailoring. The Museum of Russian Icons collection of more than 500 Russian icons and artifacts is the largest of its kind in North America, and one of the largest private collections outside Russia. 

24th Annual "Christmas in Strafford" Craft Fair, Strafford, New Hampshire

Strafford, New Hampshire - Christmas in Strafford is a time when the local artisans and craftspeople of Strafford, NH open their homes and studios to the public.  Over twenty locations are open (local homes, along with the Bow Lake Grange Hall and the Waldron Store).  Hand-crafted items are available for sale.  Many of the craftsmen are juried "League of New Hampshire Craftsmen," and all the craftsmen offer high quality hand-crafted products.   The Fair will be held Saturday and Sunday, December 7 & 8 2013, from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.   Maps with details of each stop of Christmas in Strafford will be available throughout November and December. 

9th Annual Christmas Craft Show at the Crafts At Moland House, Hartsville, Pennsylvania
Hartsville, Pennsylvania - Visit a winter wonderland at the Crafts At Moland House event and get a thoughtful, handcrafted gift for everyone on your list.  Presenting the 9th annual Handcrafted and gift show featuring over 50 local crafters.  You will find, tasty treats, Christmas trees and decorations, scarves, jewelry, painted slates, primitives, pottery, stained glass, wreaths and floral designs, and much  more. Tours of the Historic Moland House will take place on the weekends of the show. Admission $1 benefits the restoration project.  The event is held at Moland House Historic Park, 1641 Old York Rd., Hartsville, PA. Hours: Fridays 10am - 8pm. Other days, 10am - 5pm.

Island Chicks Fall 5th Annual Vintage Market, Anacortes, Washington, November 16th

Anacortes, Washington - The Island Chicks are celebrating their 5th Annual Vintage Market in Anacortes. On November 16th, over 40 one of a kind, local and regional brands will provide their famous “antiques/vintage experience.” Anacortes has become a destination for antique buyers and The Island chicks have brought new visitors to the community every year. Saturday, November 16th, 9 am - 4 pm, Historic Port of Anacortes, 100 Commercial Avenue. $5 per person, $3 with a non-perishable food item. The Island Chicks food drive is one of the largest single contributors to the Anacortes 100 food bank.
